I fell in love with a pitbull when I was a young kid, we met him at the shelter, his name was Max. At that point I had no idea what this dogs breed meant to society, at that point I did not care. This dog was perfect. My mom said we could not take him home, I had no idea why.
6 years later here I am, trying to stop the stereotyping of this perfect dog.

Truly every article I see about a pit bull attack makes me pissed, because a pit bull is the only thing a media will cover. They don’t cover the fucking chihuahua attacks that happen daily.
I hate how people think pit bulls have locking jaws, your a news station your supposed to have true facts. Love how your station promotes the fact that pits just want to attack humans, when actually they are the most loyal dog to humans.
The media is the number one fucking reason why people believe the stereotype pit bull.
SO WHAT, one fucking pit attacked someone or a fucking poodle. They have their reasons. Look at the pits background, was it abused? did it trigger something from its background? was it protecting it’s family? was the person a threat?
Golden retrievers are a great family dog right? temperament test shows a pit is better than a retriever. Fuck the people that pull their kids away from a pit coming down the street.
In general, I hate people. Because 99.9999999888222344% of fucking people believe what they hear. Witness shit for yourself, experience things on your own, meet a fucking pit bull and learn the truth. dumb asses.
And fuck the government, for even making BSL a reality. Their banning innocent dogs, I thought everyone was innocent until proven guilty? Fuck you.
true fucking pit,
SHIRLEY, Mass. — A pit bull named Lilly is being hailed a hero after she pulled her unconscious owner from the path of a freight train last weekend.
An engineer of a westward-bound freight train saw a dog pulling a woman away from the tracks in the early hours of May 4 in Shirley. The engineer tried to stop, but couldn’t avoid hitting the 8-year-old dog.
The woman, identified as Christine Spain, wasn’t hurt, but the train’s wheels sliced through Lilly’s right foot, fractured her pelvis in multiple locations and caused other internal injuries.
When EMTs arrived at the scene, Lilly was covered in blood but still standing guard over her owner, who had collapsed next to the tracks while walking home from a friend’s house.

The one and only thing I hate about pit bulls, is the fact that they take up the whole couch/bed.
I love it!

This shows that any dog can be shown a new way of life, and can change for the better. I hate it how SPCA’s judge the dog and put it down immediately, when you could train the dog.

This is Zeke. He’s a six year old pit bull, and my best friend. I first got him when he was three. He was in pretty bad condition when he first arrived because we had rescued him from a family that neglected and abused him. He wasn’t very fond of men at all, because his previous male owner would beat him and who knows what else. He hated me at first. He wouldn’t approach me, wouldn’t let me pet him, even growled sometimes and snarled his teeth and this went on for maybe 2-3 weeks. I was starting to question whether or not to give him up when he dropped a sock in front of me. We played fetch, and tug-o-war and from that instant on he has never been the same. He’s turned into the friendliest, most loving dog I’ve ever had in my life and I’m grateful for him. Every pit bull has this potential, hell I’d say every dog does. With love and care, he transformed from a timid, scared pup into a loyal, loving companion. One that I’ll never forget!
Love this, so true about most of the pits I’ve worked with!
-Never pretend to be something you’re not. Everyone knows you are a 70 pound lap dog, so don’t pretend that you are not.
-If you have a stick in your mouth, you automatically switch to super overdrive, and will be compelled to run around like you are insane…
-If your people won’t let you on…
Yes they are! Thank you!
Such bull shit that we even need to sign for something like this..
